RPR Products : RPR-GC

a) Objectives

  • Reduction of dust leakage between the chamber and the flue channels  (Cracks filling without over thickness)
  • Reduction of dust emission to the stack
  • Weak adhesion of carbon on refractory material and easier maintenance.
  • Creates on the surface of the refractory material a thin vitreous layer of high adhesion and low friction coefficient
  • Protects the refractory material from the wear abrasion
  • Application doesn’t require prior deslagging step but a carbon free refractory surface is recommended

b) Process

  • This product creates a thin vitreous layer of high adhesion and low friction coefficient on the refractory material surface.
  • This layer exhibits also a high thermal and mechanical resistance.
  • This new product is applied by exothermic reaction without prior deslagging but requires a refractory surface free of carbon for a strong adhesion.
  • RPR Equipment is required for application

c) Advantage

  • treatment of small cracks without prior deslagging or opening the crack
  • energy saving
  • easy application
  • Long lasting welding
  • Enable an easy cleaning of the carbon deposit
  • Can be applied on the walls, the chamber roof, the charging holes as well as inside the ascension pipes
